Earlier in the day when I noticed the update, I ran and yelled to the b/f, yessssssssss, it's finally updated and proceeded to dance around him like a lunatic. ^__^

Forget about evolution to homo novus, the Sheldon we are seeing emerging here is so amazingly heartbreaking and real and human (!), anything else pales in comparison.

A precipice in front, he thinks, and wolves behind. That there’s nowhere to go but down. He looks her hard in the eyes. She doesn’t look away.

His hands shake. He clenches his jaw. Her eyes are so green. “It doesn’t mean a goddamn thing,” he answers, and in three quick strides, he’s backing her up against the door and kissing her.

Gave me absolute chills. I think I sat there a couple minutes thinking "omg!!" lol, I'm a dork. =P

I'm really not sure what else to say, other than thanks for posting such an amazing update! An absolute pleasure to read! ♥

I was thinking more on this last night before bed and couldn't believe I never mentioned anything about Penny. The contrast between the intimacy of Leonard and Penny in earlier chapters and then Sheldon and Penny above was amazing. I guess you could say with Leonard she was looking out for herself (and really, who can blame her!), but with Sheldon it was a whole other level. I'm wondering if I'm reading too much into this, or if this is even something you were going for or....... yeah, enough of my rambling! ^__^
