somehow i am still here

at some point i hope to have time to go back and see how everone is doing

Our group still exists on Dreamwidth. Our group is called Thedinghy. I am there under the same name.

I will not be in Santiago Chile between Nov. 27 and Jan. 12. Safe travels.

At the time of the Ukraine invasion, most of us fled to Dreamwidth.org, where, as gottawondersays, the Dinghy washed ashore. Dreamwidth is not a great platform. I had trouble connecting with some folks, or they had trouble connecting with me.

I haven't posted much lately, but when I do I try to post in both places in the event someone from the old crowd comes back here and doesn't know about Dreamwidth.

The move to Dreamwidth was both symbolic and practical, given where this site is hosted. Some were afraid it might vanish, which hasn't come to pass. Others wanted to make a statement, though we really have no idea what the owners' political leanings are. Though there are still serious ongoing hostilities, things seem to be going Ukraine's way.

Anyway, I'm glad to see you're still around, wherever that may be.
