Last week I hung out with my mom for the first time i transitioned and she seemed to get more comfortable with it while i was there. She just sent me an email that she already told all of her friends that I am trans since I left and that her friends have been taking it really well. Savour it, you're in a pretty gleaming moment here. I had the same with my mother. The brunt of it happened when we were both at her latest play night, right before curtain call, and she asked me why I wasn't dressed up. I told her that I didn't want to cause any problems with any of the other cast members for her, and she cut me off and said "I would never, ever be embarrassed of you". I nearly cried.

I'm really happy for you.

I'm happy for you,i guess your mom stepped back and thought about how lucky she is to have you as her daughter.Off topic,from your pic, i just see a very pretty girl,i can't envision you as a guy!

yeah I think that she is starting to come around because I don't look like a guy at all. I think that is part of the reason why it made such a big difference when I finally saw her in person.

And i absolutely do not look like a guy. I ended up going fulltime earlier than I had planned on because I couldn't pass as a guy and if I tried to present myself as male, that was when life was hard and strangers would stare at me and talk about me.
