My goal in creating this is entirely selfish. Currently I do not have one person in my life with whom I can be completely honest -- not even myself, sometimes. Interesting about never having met a female jazz pianist before; I know quite a few, I'm kind of surprised at that remark.

It's a lot easier to be honest with yourself and others when you're anonymous, I find. Let's just say "sharp11" isn't my only LJ alias. I understand :)

It's probably due to my lack of exposure to jazz in general. In any case, I'm impressed.
