So tonight was: eating my leftover spaghetti; a walk through the woods; stopping where everything comes together; saying hello to trees; kissing on a bridge and on a path and in the car; making a painting with my eyes and visiting with the river goddess; seeing a father's storybook childhood; singing and turning someone's song into somebody else's;

It's easy to be happy when you look at me like that.

I didn't sleep well last night. I dreamt about teaching piano and being ugly and turning twenty tomorrow.

I am terrified of my birthday.
