SHINY. (Though, does fandom really still hate River? Seriously, who doesn't love River at this point?)

ALSO, ALSO, ALSO I REWATCHED SOME DOWNTON ABBEY. And during my first watch-through, I sort of had my Mary/Matthew/Cousin Violet/Daisy blinders on.

BUT THIS TIME I TOTALLY HAD MY SYBIL BLINDERS ON. I love her and I love her and Gwen and I love her and Branson, and I really need someone to write me a perfect fic where she and Branson meet in a hospital during WWI. She is a nurse! Branson's been promoted in the field, and is now an officer! They talk about socialism on her off-nights, and then he goes back to fight! When he comes back, he's a captain! Then Sybil is all, "Parents, I would like you to meet my mysterious fiancee who I have hardly told you a thing about!" And then everyone is all, "OMG BRANSON WHAT!" Except Mary, who is sort of snootily like, "Well, aren't you scandalous." Because Mary is secretly Violet 2.0.

There are definitely still people who dislike River. They are half the reason I avoid the comments at doctorwho. (The other half being people who hate Amy Pond!)

oh god SYBIL and Gwen and Branson! I love those three's story so much, it is just this thing of beauty and joy and friendship and overcoming differences and! <333 THAT FIC SOUNDS SO PERFECT I WANT IT TOOOOOO. There is a moment in the trailer that most people think is her holding Branson's hand! PLEASE LET THAT BE SO.

I am so okay with it being all of them! :DDD But yeah, I only came into BSG after the fact and I didn't check out the fandom almost at all because the hate I ran into for the ladies was. Wow. Ew. And Tory did seem to get quite a lot of it.
