yeah, yeah, everyone's got flooding today.  the Tex-Mex border, Florida's underwater anyway...but here in the Boston area, more specifically, the parking lot where I work, we are flooded.  there are only 8 usable parking spaces left that aren't in a flood zone.  I'm the first one in the building.  water is lapping up over the bottom stair to get up ( Read more... )

I went out at lunchtime today to run an errand.  In the course of my 15 minutes on the road, I saw 3 MAJOR annoying/stupid driver moves and 1 UGH driver move (along with the regular jackassery of the drivers in Greater Boston).  I am very sad to report that all 4 incidents were female drivers.  Why would they stop in an intersection...in the middle ( Read more... )

i'm always trying to find new foods that are similar to old foods, but more healthy.

Today I ate a Vita Top for breakfast.   G loves them.  My sister said they were the most disgusting thing she's ever eaten.  I tried it anyway.  It wasn't awesome, but for 6 gra,s of fiber, I'm not complaining.  Same fiber as my oatmeal breakfast cookie, but less ( Read more... )
