we are home. am tired. have been up since 6:30 am ECT (7hrs ahead of central time). will go to bed now. bye bye.

We're safe and sound in Belgium. It was a long trip and a bit wild getting to our place. We got a bit lost...but we eventually found ourselves due to the lovely help of the desk clerk at a hostel we stumbled on.

Now to get a light lunch and putter around the neighborhood!

Today J and I went to the arboretum! It was lovely! I took a ton of photos that I put behind the cut! I kept them within the 700x500 range, but it might still be a bit much for those on dial-up.

I'm not normally a photo person. This is painfully obvious when you notice the amazing lack of photos from my life (business ones don't count). When film was still in use, it'd take me 5+ years to get through a single roll, and then I'd never get it developed. So yeah, I'm not a photo person. However, I'm somewhat trying to change that. I am a fabulous wife, want to know why? Tonight for dinner I made steak, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. For dessert there's strawberry shortcake. Hot damn, I'm good :D

I'd like to introduce you to my new pair of sneakers!! I got them on clearance from the men's section at shoe carnival. Yes, the men's section. The girls section was pretty icky and lacked brown shoes that interested me. Plus these really aren't super masculine, so I'm sure I can pull them off :) yay for new shoes!

I really am not liking you right now. It would have been nice for you to point out that I was looking at my husband's 2006's w-2 instead of this years. Now I have to file tax amendment forms b/c I was a dork. Thanks tax gods, thanks.
