Happy late birthday!

YES, move to Huntersville! I moved to Mooresville in February and I've been teaching at Lake Norman High School for the past few months. I keep meaning to e-mail you and see if you and Eric would like to have dinner sometime, I'd love to see you again! I've been spending a lot of Saturday nights with a couple of other friends from UNCA and I'm kind of learning my way around the area (kind of being the key words...)

Actually, if y'all move to Huntersville and you'd like to find something closer, I know we have at least one science teacher leaving at the end of the year and our AP science numbers for next year are up. We seem to have a lot of teachers who used to teach in CMS (most of whom live in Mooresville or Huntersville, or on this end of Charlotte). So far I really like working there - it's a pretty rich school, different from anywhere I've ever taught before in that way - but the principal is terrific and the parents are really involved and supportive. I'd be happy to put in a good word for you if you're interested!

Thanks but I have to work at Independence at least one more year to pay off my tuition from my masters classes. I will let you know though when I would like to move. A richer school sounds great! I am very very very tired of the "ghetto" life around hear.
