I just read a really beautiful piece of McKay/Sheppard fiction by ladycat777 titled " The Principle Business of Life" and, having just re-watched Season 1, particularly Childhood's End, the fic made me wonder how Rodney would fare when meeting civilizations/races that are of non-ancient descent. The sock puppet would be something they would do. I pretty much see John as dorky enough to take gratification in irritating Rodney with such underhanded tactics.:) Thank you!

The last one was - of course - my favourite...no bigger kid in the Pegasus Galaxy than John Sheppard....

Thank you! To be honest, I never expected this warm response. I thought hail was gonna come down on me when I clicked 'post entry'. Yes, I'm weird like that.:) I'm kind of torn between John or Rodney being the biggest kid in two galaxies, but it's undeniable they are both such boys.:)

These are great! I especially love John, the eternal 9-year-old. He's just so cute in his sunglasses (and he makes Rodney so adorably grumpy)! :)

Thank you! I kind of imagine him pimping Rodney for babysitting duties, guised as 'diplomacy'. He likes making Rodney grumpy.:D

they *are* all adorable -- but I really like the first one with young Rodney and the last one with John draped over him teasingly.
