My dear friend Frank visited for a week. He brought his trailer so he slept in it a night. No bed to make or sheets to be washed. Makes for a great houseguest.

I got a wild hair this evening and went to the movies. Todays SF Chronicle raved about a movie called "Winter's Bone". It takes place in rural Missouri in a strata of society one would not normally see. It was well written and well acted. It made me very glad that I do not live in rural Missouri. I watched the second season of True Blood on discs over the last three days. I know it is a bit silly but I cannot look away. I seems a bit like Anne Rice mixed with X-men. I still have trouble seeing Anna and Steven as a real life couple.
