I'm not sure about American passports (if that's what you're travelling on). You should be able to renew a tourist visa twice - a month each time. Good luck deciding with that piece of information ;)

I have a visa that has two entries of 60 days. My first 60 days is up, so I have to leave the country and come back (on the same visa) to start up my next 60 days.

Unfortunately, if I extend it, they cancel my second entry and replace it with the 30 day extension :(

When will you begin your Hong Kong trip?

My plan right now is to go to HK around the middle of December. If we overlap by a few days, I can bring you to the teashops there.

Lemme know what you decide.

hrm. i could always go to Macau first and fritter away some time there before hong kong. that might help create the overlap. i'll post my decision as soon as it's made and the ticket is purchased!

There's probably no more than one or two days' worth of stuff to do in Macau, just so you know. Hong Kong can last you for maybe 4-5 days. Tea shopping, of course, can take a lot longer.

How about Taiwan?
