love is a matter of chemistry; sex is a matter of physics

I just made another decision that will prove to be a monumental one in the course of my existence. It's always weird to think that you are making decisions that will change you as a person as well as the life that you'll lead in the future. Maybe other people don't think about things in such life changing/altering future terms. Maybe other ( Read more... )

i know! i read this interview of her in some music mag in Austin and she was talking about how its her favorite guise. she has a horrid american accent but she speaks it fluently ;)

you know she used to do the animation for ren & stimpy and the animated segments in pee-wee's playhouse. she also drew for the madonna video "who's that girl?" what a sweet lady!

feel better love, i hope all this shit in yr life works out.

i made the same college decision when i was your age. my rationale was that i was 17 years old and had no idea what i wanted to do, and until i figured that out, i didn't want to waste my college money on drinking beer and hooking up with random boys when i could do all that without paying tuition. plus i've always been pretty good at extracuricular learning. plus mostly the things i wanted to study aren't taught in school.

now i'm pre-law. :)

hey -- sorry about before. we were having a meeting in my office, so i got your messages but couldn't really respond to them without outing myself as being on IM all day and not working.

yes, i'm going to law school. i plan to study constitutional law (ACLU-type work, though maybe not with the ACLU). or else i would really like to prosecute sex crimes.

i thought about it and i was like, "i would like a job that will make me feel good about the world at the end of the day. throwing rapists in jail to rot will make me feel GREAT about the world."

lately i've been having some issues with that, though, so hopefully i can either get really excited about civil rights again or else get over my issues with the sex crime plan.

awesome! that's an extremely admirable field to go into and it's great that there are people that are passionate about that type of work! I think I read in one of your posts that you were a victim of a sex crime. It's really wonderful the way you have rose up from that situation to and decided to work towards ending the violence and helping other women who are in need. kudos :)

thanks for telling me about what you decided to do. i'll use you as another example of people who didn't fuck up their lives because they decided to wait before going to school. besides- i was enrolled in school a year early; then i graduated a year early. so even if i did go to college with the rest of my graduating class, i'd still be on the younger side.

my issues with the sex crime work stem from the recent situation here at the IMC where we have a woman claiming to be the victim of partner abuse who is clearly (at least to me) lying. she has actually been caught in several lies, but it's turned into such a witch hunt that no one notices her lies except the people who already don't believe her ( ... )
