This is the second day since we've returned from attending Estrella War, but I'm still having difficulty in finding the right words to describe the experience.

The first words that come to mind are.......

This is just astoudning! Absolutely astounding!!! Such a conteast within the situation..I am stunned..I keep hearing how bad it was, and the awesomeness of our Caidans..
I will be wrttign you back, on your private post..today was kinda stuffed.
BTW..I make a VARIETY of european and asian chamber pots and urinals (the asian looks like a dragon..8-) LOL!)
I laugh about that, but wry-ly..
From whateveryone is saying, I am NOT sur e I want to give Estrella another change..whew!

Name Five Things Positive About the War

1. The privies on the outer (hard-pack) roads were serviced by the porta-john company
2. Wooden pattens look pretty cool with both $4 target sparkly flats and with period 14C pointed-toe leather shoes, and give great purchase on muddy roads
3. Wolgemut is amazing
4. The cement ampitheatre area next to Heralds' point is a great place to watch both the Rapier and Heavy Weapons fields at the same time
5. The fighters and the populace of Caid are wonderful singers, and they amuse me when they sing my songs on the roads

Great commentary, and absolutely right on. I'll send my 5 favorite things (with a few more thrown in for good measure) on the household list. But here are the top two just for fun:

1. Good company
2. Chamber pot -- Master Hroar, if you make period ones I AM SO THERE.

yes indeed..Yorksire ware urinals, Borderware Chamberpots, and (I forget teh date details) teh Chinese Dragon urinals..Perhaps we could arrainge a meetign time at an event? I am hoping to be accepted into Potrero (was last year) and have a larger space..perhaps that woudl be a good plac eto bring them? Also, if you have a specific image you wud likem let m eknow, or send me the image, and see if I can make it..(just giving you options..) 8-)

I was SO surprised, when I first came across the abundance of Period remants and relics of such things, when I was researching.

I just used the porta johns on the marshalling field, since they were next to gravel roads, they were serviced regularly.
