I can't imagine a better start to 2009 than sitting on my couch in my pjs whilst eating cheese dip, drinking champagne, and watching the Hawkeyes kick some ass.

So, I went home early yesterday from work b/c I was feeling crappy. I had a sore throat most of the day yesterday, and then around 3 p.m. got really headachey and tired. The Christmas season has been awfully busy, but it's been great. I've cooked, baked, shopped, decorated, and partied all this month, and am really looking forward to the actual holiday. Well, we did it. Eight weddings this year! In October, we split our commitments--while I was at my cousin's wedding in Iowa, Tony went to our friends' reception/party here in Columbus. I am so glad that we're done with weddings until March of next year. SO SO glad.

Now the holiday season begins....at least we don't have to go anywhere for
