Today was just a 30 minute run (W8D1 of OHR) but oh my gosh, it was fantastic! It felt soooo good, and I felt kinda speedy. And really, I love that 30 minutes are now what I consider my "short runs", heh!!! :D ( Read more... ) -

I walked into Tinto's tonight, and the guy at the counter said "a coke and grapes." Well, um, yes! Diet coke, but yes, diet coke and grapes. I am more embarrassed than impressed that he knew my order...I do sometimes get something else, but the last few nights he has been working and that has been what I've gotten! -

Got home from my 5k (my time was only 40 seconds longer than the Jingle Bell Run! I never wanted to stop! And the last five blocks I was running into the wind!) to find "Clueless" on tv. A totally fantastic way to start the new year if you ask me :D -

I just mapped my run from yesterday, and it looks like I went about 2.5 miles which is perfect :D Yesterday was my third 32 minute run, so I plan on moving up with my next one. Yay!
Now if only I had been able to go swimming today, but when the schools close down so do their pools ;) -

Well, we've finally gotten snow here in town, catching up with the rest of the PNW. It was a smidge under 2 inches when I measured it around 11 am, and right now it is dumping down thick, fluffy, and FAST. I went to Starbucks today and the boy made me a grande instead of a tall. And it had chocolatey chips in it...yum!
