It's been a nice weekend. Full of much lounging around, actually, with a little bit socializing too. Did nothing of note today until working out in the early evening, and then going for a walk. Well, never fear about my worry about my foot pain...I shaved another 31 seconds off my personal best at the 5k today! The theme of the 5k was "England vs. Australia vs. the Rest of the World." Welp, only made it into work ten minutes early, and of course ended up working 70 minutes late. Blah. I JUST noticed for the first time that during the Mary Poppins scene where she pours out the medicine, that each of them are a different color, hence Jane yelling out. I guess I never realized why she yelled out, maybe I thought it spilled or something.

I ran 60 minutes tonight. SIXTY MINUTES!!!! Six months ago I could only run 30 seconds, then 60 seconds...now I've managed 60 minutes ( Read more... ) -

I'm sitting at the end of my bed, with the desk pulled close so I can leave my laptop on it. The window is open just a crack, letting a lovely soft breeze of cool air in. It's not sunny out but not totally overcast either. I just finished doing a Shred workout, and I have my nalgene full of water next to me ( Read more... ) -

Another 5k completed, and with a personal best to boot! I really didn't think I would even make the time of my previous two 5ks, because I've been running less lately and when I got off the bus at Hyde Park my legs felt really heavy, but I did! :D The first half of the run was tough, as I was running against the wind, but I made it.
