While looking though The Boston Public Library's Flickr account, I found this picture, and decided to share with you all the reasons I find it funny. Just for fun. I see a lot of these sorts of pictures! Everything is symbolic sure, but let's do this anyway.

Those "icebergs" are perhaps supposed to be the White Cliffs of Dover Long Island, where the naval battle was won. 'Cause everyone knows that Long Island is ringed by cliffs. Just like Dover.

Tits-First Lady Liberty seems to be a meme here. Maybe this is how rebellions are won. "Tits out, gents. We're fighting for freedom."

Thanks for the laugh!

I must say, the artist did a pretty good job on capturing Lord North's likeness. My favorite, however, is the guy standing in the shadows behind him -- with his dashing hat(?) all crooked, like a true rake. Love him!
