I still haven't made the inevitable graduation update. I thought if I waited long enough I would have this sudden epiphany about high school. graduation, tomorrow?! can't be.

Everything this past week, as well as this week, has been a last. My last full day of school, my last day of gov't, peer leadership, gym, art, etc. I never thought it would be this emotional. So the last guitar workshop of the year fell through. Stan Koba couldn't get out of his meeting. I guess it was too hopeful to have this last one. It was so hard to get more contacts. This weekend Matt and I hit up the Red Bank Jazz and Blues Festival on Saturday. The fest kicked ass. We got there in time for the end of Lil'Bastad's set which was pretty cool. He played B.B. King style blues. Then we caught the Sonny Kenn Band. He blew the house down. Played over 90 minutes straight. Sonny was awesome as always. He was playing ( Read more... )

Today was the Senior trip to Black Bear Lake. After first hearing about it, I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to go. Going into today with such mixed emotions, coupled with a feeling of being disconnected from my senior class left me pretty skepitical.
