Plans and Dreams

I have decided I want to implement a little structure to my SCA Career.   I want to be able to get out of it more than what I have been.  I have been getting camraderie and fun, which is awsome, but I would like to learn more and be more creative.   Over the next year I really want to flesh out my Persona, and develope a very authentic personal ( Read more... )

Let's talk offline about your dress - I need some information from you for an evil/cunning plan that I am working on. Mwahahahah! I know that Pensic is pretty much Right Out, but you will be at Post Pensic, right?

I have to discuss with Gosling#1 about her Pensic schedule, She may have to work most of the time, but if she has company for an extended mid-war run it might be possible. Sharing gas and all that for a quick girl's weekend out.

Girls Weekend out... right out beatrixherald July 16 2008, 18:48:22 UTC
The Idea of riding up to pennsic with amber and staying just a few days sounds awsome, but I am afraid that is right out. I have some interviews and I know that if I go up, I will miss something important in my big job search. I am resigned to stay home this year.

I must admit there are many people trying to coax me into going and that is nice in and of itself.

What can I tell you about my dress? I can send you the powerpoint I put together for Anglo saxon dress in general based on my class at Cambridge. It has some great pictures and stuff.

I am working in the District this week and for maybe 2 more, we could totally get lunch. Call me 301-412-9939

I like Sexburgha, too, but I can see Gregor's objection. Pity...

You should totally spiff up your Persona and enter the Persona Pentathlon. I can give you all kinds of tips about how to do well in it, since I ran it last year. I'd be running it this year, too, but I may be one of the autocrats for KASF, instead. Wish me luck!

'Allo! I'm hoping to run a class on Anglo-Saxon performance at Fall University, if that helps with your planning. :D

Go you, by the way! I've had this vagueish idea that I should know more specifics on A-S England, and also actually date my kit rather than throw together a bunch of A-S doodads which, while lovely, are probably separated by 200 years. But Music Ensemble and all has just eaten my research time. :/

It's quite the week for volunteering. I'll be stepping up as Exchequer as soon as I have a warrant.
