Ah, a new kakera I stumbled into. I wonder if this will be able to entertain me for a longer time than the last game that was so feeble that even a fabricated truth based on lies could shatter it so easily ( Read more... )

[Oh, hey strange person in a strange house that strangely has her master and her in the pictures that adorn the walls...I wouldn't look behind you.]

Huuga?

[She turns around, and takes a look at the other...strange girl.]

Hm? Who might you be. Are you furniture of this place, perhaps?

.....

Huu...ga?

[This is first time she's ever been called furniture. So she just points at random table and stares blankly at you.]

Huuga?

It seems the pieces in this place aren't familiar with the terms of most witch games.

No, not that kind of furniture. I was wondering if you were the child, [She pauses] or the servant of the one living in this place.

... why would you even think this is a game?

And I've been hearing 'kakera' a lot lately...

It obviously is a game. It is very similar to other games I have participated in, although, of course, core details appear to be different.

But that is only natural. Rule X, Y and Z do differ in each game. I wonder what effect massive casualities would have on this one. Would you happen to know?

I wish I could say you come from a messed up world to say something like that... but that'd definitely be hypocritical...

... ah... massive casualties...? The only thing I know about that is when somebody dies in this place, they're just revived the next day in their assigned bed...

You would be entirely correct to assume that.

Thank you, that is valuable information. Whoever creates this place does not want to give the pieces respite even in death, then.

How do you know of the existence of kakera?

Reply

beatssuperpaper January 18 2010, 09:01:35 UTC
Because I have lived through many kakera, and have observed many more. Your voice makes me suggest it is the same for you, is it not?

Is that Featherine's little...? Feh.

[OOC: Assuming this is over the phone, and that thus she can't see Hanyuu. Aah, so confused, this newbie is!]

You could say that. After all, I once had the powers that allowed me to enter anyplace on a timeline. However, those powers have considerably weakened. And here, they do not exist at all.

((You got it~.))

I once knew someone with such powers. I was her miko.

She sounded quite a bit like you, in fact, although you seem to lack her speech impediment.

[There's some disdain in her voice when she says the word miko]

Powers being taken away is a sign that you're new...

beatssuperpaper January 18 2010, 09:09:02 UTC
That would appear to be the case.

Though it has to be said that I am not unfamiliar with contrived games like this.

R-Right. I guess that's good enough then.

I take it that you have been to this place for...a while longer?

*Hime walks into the room, drinking some tea.*

Well, it's good to be rid of that drone child. He kept wanting me to read him stories...

You must be my...game-mother, then. I see.

Should I not demand the same, to keep up the facade this game wants us to live?

bloody_hime January 18 2010, 20:09:38 UTC
Game mother? Well, I suppose one could see it that way.

And please, I would rather not. He kept calling me mummy, and it was quite irksome. Call me Hime.

I shall, Hime-mummy. [Completely expressionless]
