I know, I aready have a job. But now I have two! I had an interview and they offered me a retail job. I'm going in tomorrow to fill out the paperwork. Then they should get back to me next week about training.

So the plan is that I will work there for a long time. When school starts, I'll just cut my hours. I think I should be able to handle to the ( Read more... )

two jobs! no fair, give me one? lol. i'm really sick of people just not even saying anything at all. and also sick of the phrase "the position has been filled."

go to a mentor and do a mock interview. that helps. i know there's jobs in the city but you live kinda far...

well i'm right by a bus that's 20 minutes to downtown, that's not the problem. the problem is my resume looks poor because i always jump between jobs, and i have no real solid experience in any field, at a time where everyone is looking for "2-3 years retail experience" "AT LEAST 4+ years serving experience" etc. i might as well have never had a job; that's what people think of me. ohh job-hunting really hits the self-esteem hard. i don't care as long as i qualify for unemployment, but if i don't i really don't know what i'm going to do.
