I got into Berkeley!! I feel so relieved.

So I sent the aforementioned letter off, then two minutes later calmed down a little bit and realized it was probably not a very nice letter. So, I quickly wrote an appology, sent that off and am hoping everything works itself out. I think I'm feeling a little more on edge than usual due to spending the entire weekend inside studying for the GRE. ( Read more... )

I have a new job! I'm going to be working with severely emotionally disturbed children (think really challenging emotional and behavioral problems) who are in foster care. I'm sure it's going to be incredibly difficult, but I'm actually really excited about the challenge. I'm not so excited about the hours though. I have to be there every morning ( Read more... )

I've just learned that due to the new security restrictions you're not allowed to bring anything that isn't completely solid onto a plane, including things like lotion, toothpaste, bottled water, and CHAPSTICK. What?! There is no possible way that I can go 9 hours without chapstick. Obviously I will have to cancel my trip.
