Thanks, Daisy. I'm not perfect at being nice, so if anything, the post is a good reminder to myself!

Aw, Kiersten Love! I will always take more of that!

So I'm thinking of blogging every day this week. I thought, If Kiersten can do it pretty much every day, I should be able to handle 7 consecutive days...

Brilliantly put. I've been lucky in my reviewing to not read many books I haven't enjoyed, but for those I haven't liked I've always tried to write a constructive review as I'm sure that what makes it not work for me will be the thing that makes it a perfect read for something else. I think it's downright rude to just trash a book - so much time and effort has gone into writing the book and that deserves respect.

I think that's a great approach to writing reviews. For some reason it bothers me more when aspiring YA authors trash other YA books. I once saw an aspiring writer say something along the lines of, "Current YA books aren't well written. I can't wait for people to read MY book."

Writing a book is never as easy as it looks.
