so, brasil was amazing. i never thought i would love a country so much. i love the people, the culture, the food, and especially the church down there. the passion and dedication to the church is amazing, and especially refreshing after being confined to the bible belt for 23 years, where it is assumed that everyone goes to church and it is taken ( Read more... )

this is how my afternoon was spent! no better way to spend a sunday afternoon in norene, playing football and frisbee, eating fried chicken, while racing is on the tv. country life is the best.

i'm really happy. can't say that it's one thing in general, just all around happy. glad this semesters almost over. i gave my hair to locks of love again, and it looks great, i think anyways, which is what counts.

The beginning of my twenty-third year in life was great. I am telling you...nothing could be a better than what I got this morning. At approx. 8:55am....i walked into my classroom meet by 15 3-yr-olds running toward me shouting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" or "IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!" like it was the greatest news that they had ever heard in their little lives ( Read more... )

i have amazing friends, all over, here in nashville, at church, and all my old freedies. they are the best support and the most encouraging people.

so i got a new job. it's still preschool work, but i'll be making 9.50 instead of 7 an hour. it's at a preschool in nashville. it'll be nice to be making more money, and it'll be a whole different environment. like complete opposites, city and country. at camp smiley, the kids look for lady bugs and lizards under the wood...in nashville they don't ( Read more... )
