You know... if you go to the library, I am sure you'll find all the books you need to read to find out what happens next... or you could always just ask someone you pass on the street... if anything you might get a weird look or a laugh.

Be there in the event that I need support. Just knowing that I have you guys as friends is help in and of itself...

Oh, if you want to, you can babysit... that could be extremely helpful.

Are you kidding? I would LOVE to babysit! I love babies, and toddlers, and kids, and even teenagers. I'm a freak that way.

I think the part of that statement that defines you as a freak was the "even teenagers" part.

Wow, honey... I'm not sure what to say, except that I'm proud of you for making a choice and standing by it. You have my love, support, and admiration for taking on such a tremendous and wonderful responsibility. Accepting parenthood has to be one of the most incredible acts of optimism there is. I pray you will always have a deep and abiding joy in it, no matter what the trials or difficulties.

While I certainly understand the limitations this will put on your faire involvement, please don't forget that you have family there, and we love you and will help in whatever way we can. *loves*

Thank you Tara. Those are probably some of the most thoughtful words anyone has said to me since I found out we were going to be parents. I really appreaciate it.

As for faire... probably wont do southern this year. Was thinking about taking a season off anyways. As for northern... who knows yet. Next southern I should be back for at least half the season, given I can find a place at faire that I feel is where I belong.
