we have had no hot water for two days, so we've had to sponge bathe. I definitely smell weird. and the internet is down, so I am stealing a wireless signal from the neighbors, using tricia's 1997 mac laptop with the wireless card. yup, it feels like 2006. I can't believe we handed over rent a week ago and we have no hot water.

true, there were no trails, and indeed no bedbug dust at all. and no you, and no karen, and no mischa. so not quite like 2006 :-). but it was definitely reminiscent.
