thanks to my dearest tricia morgan, I have found the most wonderful internet radio station...accessed it through wikipedia, and am playing it through itunes. it is called whole wheat radio...folky acoustic bluegrass shit that touches the deepest recesses of my heart. I know that many of you would appreciate it as well, so I thought I would share.

a few hours ago I officially accepted the position in the korea program!! I leave in late october. I am so psyched :-)! I have several weeks to put all the paperwork and everything in order, and then I go! and I get to work with kids for the first time in forever. and be in a foreign country and hang with tricia and all sorts of loveliness! 

I cannot stop watching shortbus. I think I've watched it about four times in the last two days. currently in the middle of a fifth viewing. and no, I am not watching it for the sex. it is quickly taking its place as one of the few movies that, in addition to being enjoyable, actually make me feel good about life, one of the movies that I watch over ( Read more... )
