I so enjoyed this story, especially after the completely craptastic day I had yesterday. Jared was so sweet and I loved the very realistic twist of his illness. That was handled very sensitively. Jensen's internalized homophobia was also dealt with in a very believable, yet understated manner. I liked the quiet feel to the story, as well. Just an all around beautiful job! Thanks so much for the break from my workaday life.

Almost finished this fic and I must say, wow, I love it <3 it's intense, heartbreaking and uplifting and it tackles serious issues with such delicacy, and without agenda. never felt psa-ish, but at the same time it doesn't romanticize or avoid. Idk. I just wanted to thank you for writing a fic like this and setting a great example for other fic writers who might want to tackle issues within a fic without making it A FIC ABOUT ISSUES. Yr awesome and should be proud of this. :)))))
