I love Lindy Hop because its an exuberant, bouncy dance, to some of the most boldly joyful music in American history.  I love the dizziness of it, and the mandatory eye contact, and the formal structure.  I love the hoakey wholesomeness of Lindy in the Park on Sunday afternoons, with the free dance lesson, and having dance parthers of all ages and ( Read more... )

I would love to see a movie tonight, if I didn't have singing class.
Although I rehearsed my song last week, so I don't technically have to go tonight, it seems too diva-ey to ditch when I'm not singing.

I can't a wait till I can Lindy Hop too! Ah swing. So awesome.
I feel you on the running thing too. I used to love it like nobody's business. Though now in Escondido (where I used to run and run and run) it's too dangerous to go running alone. Those two girls who were murdered there recently were running when taken. This is why I love the city. A lonely country road is much better hunting grounds for the predatory types.

/Thinking of Sutter Island on Friday. Let me know if you'd like to do movies again. That was fun. :)
