spent the whole day in the sun at Mark Twain lake on our friend's boat. tired, sunburned, finally showered and clean (I wore the lake home, with all it's lovely smells). noe was at my mom and dad's all day, so i missed her a lot; she fell asleep on the way home

Boats are great to have but the gas costs are pretty hard to overcome. Not only for running the boat but for towing it to the water in the first place.

It would be worth it, if it came to that, to find a favorite lake or river and rent boat space. Probably still less than the gas.

I fall into the boat trap myself every time I see someone seling a sailboat for $5k.

Remind Ryan what he wants is not a boat, but access to a boat.
