what a GREat way to waste a Friday

Dec 01, 2006 18:51

660 verbal
650 quantitative
probably a 2 on the analytic writing
and I sent my score to OSU even though they dont require GRE scores unless your GPA is below a 3.0.

consider this an emo post.

Aw, don't be emo! You did better than me on both the verbal and quantitative. And I'm sure you didn't get a 2 on the writing-- I managed to scrape a 5, and I ran out of time in the middle of typing a sentence.

Although I do agree it's a sucky way to spend a friday.

i guess im kind of a bitch, because these scores seem to be better than most of the people ive talked to (havent talked to cooper yet). is it against the rules to post my scores here? I thought it might have said somewhere that i cannot share any information at all in any way pertaining to the content of the test, my scores, or what kind of people the test proctors are.

I think it's ok to share your scores-- I'm pretty sure I did. (Although I was curious about the fact that I got exactly the same score [640] on both verbal and quantitative... apparently I'm exactly as good at math as I am at English...) You're just not supposed to talk about the test questions at all.

Funny, they make you copy that whole document in cursive, and then you can't even remember what it is you wrote.

yea, it all kindof runs together...

that was probably the hardest part of the test, remembering how to write a cursive F

Congratulations! I hated the GRE. Actually, it wasn't that bad. . . just a big waste of time. And I'm SURE you didn't get a 2 on the analytic writing.

I never took the GRE--instead, I tortured myself with the LSAT and only applied to schools with the joint degree program I wanted that would use your LSAT score instead of making you take the GRE.

But I feel your pain!

Congrats on the scores!
