I am in the getting ready to fly back to the states on  the 1st .  It has been a good time over hear in England but It will be good to see everybody stateside

So I'm looking for jobs on both sides of the pond these days.  I've applied for a couple near the twin cities and one in Janesville.  On a brighter note, I'm going to Paris tomorrow for a few days, so that should be good.  Hopefully one of these jobs will come through.

I suck at life at the moment

It has been a long term and I'm very tired.  I've been a bit stressed out of late but now I have to weeks to putz around and enjoy myself.  Over all things are going well on this side of the pond.  It is going to be weird not being home for Christmas and all but I'll deal.  One of my roommate's is having her family over to our place for Christmas ( Read more... )

So I just got up to Edinburgh, which is cool as always so far.  I just moved to a new place cause one of my roomates was snorting coke and I needed to be closer to work.  I like my new place so far.  I'm living with two women and one of their kids and I only have to take one bus to get to work now.  I had a pint at one of the pubs I really liked ( Read more... )

So I've finally done the face book thing, which I'm not really sure is a great idea being a teacher and all but what the hell

So I'm still settling in here but things are going well.  I've been playing soccer on Fridays with a bunch of people from work then going out to the pub afterword, which is very nice.  I think I've found a martial arts place that I will enjoy.  It is a Jujitsu club at one of the local health centers.  Other then that I found this great Scotch shop ( Read more... )
