I’ve never been a round dinning room table kind of girl. I don’t think it was so much that I didn’t like them I just never had one growing up and we often gravitate to what we know. So we’ve been dead set on a square or rectangle table. Then I saw this perfect room set up by Nate Berkus (sp?) that I really want to implement in our living room/ ( Read more... )

Hmmm ... do you have Bombay near you. They have furniture in a very similar style and I know if you sign up for their email notification they sometimes send of 50% off coupons.

It is beautiful!

50% off coupons, that seems unheard of. Thanks for the tidbit.

Bombay does have nice things but everything in their store always feels so dark and heavy in a visual way. If that even makes sense? We are really trying to keep things slim and airy. But I will be sure to check them out. Thanks!

Oh, I really like it...esp with the dark floors...

Isn't it annoying how the chairs are ALWAYS so $$$?? It's a damn conspiracy! They make you fall in love with the table and then you have to suck it up and buy the matching chairs which end up costing more than the table itself...

The dark floors really are beautiful, which makes me think it could work in our home since the other pieces in the room will be of a dark wood. Oh but wait, I can't afford it.

And I neglected to mention that the shipping is even more ridiculous.

Thanks.

I have very strong feeling on what I like in my home but I definitely feel like it's extremely different then the norm. I was showing my friend at work photos of our place and she wanted to know where all the "stuff" was. I was like, we don't really like a lot of stuff. I think when you streamline your home people tend to think it is uninviting but I love it for us.
