In May we had our big triannual IEP (individualized education plan) for Anna.  Her private speech therapist, which the district pays for, requested for an additional hour for Anna.  She currently receives an hour already and gets an hour and a half at school as well.  But the problem is that her speech therapist at school is not that good.  Anyways ( Read more... )

My good college friend is having a baby and some of us are helping out with different parts of the baby shower.  My good friend A and I are in charge of the decorations and party favors.  There will be 70 people there, it's a co ed baby shower and he has a gazillion cousins, uncles, and aunts.  So we are going to be on a budget :)  We were thinking ( Read more... )

Two weekends ago, I bought a bag of oranges from Costco. Usually the fruit I get from Costco is good, but this bag of oranges were neither sweet or sour just tasteless. So I decided to make Orange Marmalade.
