Of course, I was dying to know what Esca's reaction had been and didn't find out until well into this chapter - escorting the poor bloke to the door when he was half out of it and Marcus had spent all night on his chair!
I love how persistent Marcus is being and was sitting here thinking, 'good for you'! :)
I also love how incredibly conflicted Esca is by all this. He's really suffering! And despite all that, it was sweet when internally he got narked at Stew calling Marcus a wop!
The little scene at the end, Esca jacking off over thoughts of Marcus was deliciously hot. :) I'm left wondering how Marcus is going to react to Esca apparently dating Janice's sister. :)
Another deliciously fabulous update - thank you! ♥

I loved that Marcus kept pushing until Esca agreed to talk things through; I think Esca needed that at least as much as Marcus did and it seems like a tentative friendship could be forming. I hope.

You’ve re-nterpreted that scene by the river in the movie so brilliantly - Esca’s fierceness, and his description of who his father was, the kind of man he was, so incredibly powerful.
And noble, persitent Marcus - god, and the UST, so perfectly paced. Poor boys, how are they ever going to find peace? ;D *cackles*
Thank you so much for posting a day earlier than you promised - you are wonderful for doing that! I pounced on this as soon as it was posted.
I loved this line, btw: Esca beginning to feel like a stray sheep with a wolf in the field, the farmer nowhere to be seen.

Ahhh, you've got me! Wow, have you got me! I just read all four parts back to back.
Your characterization is very strong and vivid, the dialogue crackles, and the details are so very intense. I am so looking forward to the rest.
