LiveJournal will be spotlighting this community during the week of July 27 - August 2.

Just to make sure no funny stuff occurs, I will be moderating all posts from now until things settle down here.

moderating in this instance ... a good thing

only problems are my hives.. they went queenless recently and it's been POURING in the NE US, the ladies are ANTSY (oh and ants have invaded the inner cover, bbut not the hive itself thankfully!)

Use cinnamon powder! My hive was invaded earlier this summer and I dusted every possible entrance and no more ants. Doesn't hurt the girls, either!

I've wandered in here because of the spotlight - and I think bees are adorable despite what my icon tries to tell you - but as a member of previously-spotlighted communities, yeah, moderating is a good idea. ;]
