I was out helping the FatBeeMan yesterday and saw some things that might be of interest to those that had never seen them.
I shot some video of a dead out frame with bee butts sticking out, and another with some damage from a drippy jar feeder. I 'll post more as I process it.

anyone want to share fondant recipes for that one warm day in January feeding? I've seen recipes WITH tarteric (cream of tarter)... ? What does this do exactly?

I'm leaning towards Mite Away but quite a few beeks around here use Apistan...

its my first year, i've got two hives. I'm in northwest Connecticut.

I probably won't apply medication until mid to late September so I have a little time to figure this out..
