1. just seemed like the thing to do, i was interacting with you on db but not lj
2. any mountain goats song or even thinking about the mountain goats also makes me think of how much you want to do it with john d.
3. random fact... i would say it's hard to do a "fact" and more an opinion, BUT, of all the people i've met who can turn their eyelids inside out, you do it BY FAR the most grotesquely
4. i'm pretty sure the first post you ever made on db that caught my attention was about Pearl Jam, and i was like "oh no!" but then you turned out alright :)
5. yeah, not really
6. a) are you finished uni, b) what do you do for a job (detailed!)
7. you only have one, but even if you had more i am pretty confident that Where the Wild Things Are would reign supreme

a) I am not finished uni quite yet. I have another 3 weeks left in this semester, and then 2 more classes in the summer (History of Jazz and (probably) Slavic Literature and Film), and then I'll be finished with all my classes on June 15th. I won't get convocated until the November ceremony, however. I am a year behind thanks to the co-op program, and 2 courses shy from graduating "on time" because I got lazy/couldn't afford it at all down to my last hundred dollars omg in my second year. I'll end up with a Bsc in Math. Speaking of co-op ( ... )

i am familiar with WebCT! back in the day, Brown used to use it a little and so did Brandeis, where my boyfriend at the time went to school.

what i do for a job is complicated, but let's say that i design progressive curriculum for alternative schools or alternative education programs. right NOW, though, i don't do fucking anything because i can't find a job in australia. i commiserate with my friend Ashleigh, who is an aerospace engineer from India. he now sells fruit.

1. i don't remember when i did, but i guess the "why" would be that you were just everywhere that i was, on the internet, and being friends with my friends. i KEPT you friended because your lj is usually pretty interesting.
2. the only sound i really associate with you is you saying "groin groin."
3. fact! i was the first person to stick up for you when you were O! MG. Roffle!! everyone was like "omg lame" and i was like "hey give her a chance dudes!" that is a FACT.
4. you made some kind of post on db that i responded to by asking what you were studying, and then you told me. you were really polite, was my first impression.
5. you kind of remind me of a character, but you are the character, you're the first iteration of the character that you remind me of. i guess this means that future characters may remind me of you, instead of vice versa ( ... )

she does, and so do i! i think it is a regional thing. since i got really into grammar i stopped saying it as much, but yeah, the construction never seemed weird to me until the internet.

do you even know where it came from? how it came to be? like, it must be a foreshortening of "clothes need to be folded," right? but it totally changes the phrase by omitting those two little words.

1. man, i friended you AGES ago, i can't remember if you friended me first or vice versa. i feel like we go about as far back as i go with dumbrella -- four years?
2. i associate your music with you. also, a little bit, and for no reason i'll ever understand, "Groove is in the Heart."
3. fact: you are one of the people who inspired me to start cooking. i would say you were my second-strongest inspiration, behind my housemate for the last two years of university. the only reason she was a bigger influence is because i ate her food every day.
4. god, i dunno what my first memory is of you. i do remember that in the first picture i ever saw of you, i was really enamoured of your hair color and your complexion.
5. i sort of don't even understand what i'm supposed to do for this. what is a character/pairing exactly?
6. are you and ross doing okay? i was worried when you were posting sad things.
