road trip
i am so in the mood for a road trip. to just get in the car and drive, drive far away. i've felt this way since pretty much the first of the year. i want to go hours away to a place i've never been before and meet people i've never seen before. but which way to go? -

weird, odd, but good
i got paid this week, and for what i think may be the first time in my life, i have nothing that i have to spend it on. all the bills are paid, caught up and covered, nothing else due this month except for my car payment which is next week's check. and the yoga class that i wanted to take again this spring is already full so they sent my check ( Read more... ) -

Philip Morris must pay $8 million to the widow and son of a chain-smoker who died of lung cancer, a Florida jury has decided. The award includes $5 million in punitive damages for deceiving the public about the health risks of smoking and the addictive power of nicotine.
