i must respond to britt's reply to my post. and don't take this personal britt. now everyone's entitled to their own opinion so the reason i wrote my original post was to state that i side w/ bush not only becuz he's a sexy beast but also becuz i agree with his views. 9 months is a big deal. pregnancies are expensive. they take quite a toll on a woman, physically and emotionally and usually set working women far back in their careers. women are already at such a disadvantage in their workplaces and it is proven that a pregnancy only furthers misogynist sentiments form coworkers. sorry it's true. you can't force someone to give up their entire career to deal with the result of a broken condom. true, they do need to be dealt with more responsibly and we need to impose limits on them - i.e. women who don't use protection and get an abortion every month when they "oops ( ... )

Okay, Beth, your opinion is coming from that of a closed-minded Catholic. I don't care if every single person in the world but one is against abortion. The fact that there is ONE person who wants abortion makes pro-choice the correct choice. Your views contradict the entire idea of democracy. A president imposing his PERSONAL RELIGIOUS VIEWS upon his people is WRONG -- look at Afghanistan. Politics is not about religion, it's about the people. Just because Bush doesn't agree with abortion doesn't mean he has the right to say it's wrong. How do you know that an embryo inside of the mother is a person? You don't. You THINK it is because you're Catholic -- these are your beliefs but not necessarily those of others. And what if the mother is an illegal alien living here with a thing inside her? Then it's not American. It doesn't matter if not everyone supports the government, always. Freaks like you support Bush because he is a freak. His personal beliefs are his own; I don't give a damn if he's for or against anything. But ( ... )
