I switched from Claritin to Zyrtec last night. I can't say it is working any better (which is to say at all) but I am about to fall asleep standing up in the break room waiting for my bagel to toast.

everything is just falling right into place. i like my life so much right now. new job- a manager, even- i'm dating the most incredible man i've ever met, and i've got some side things picking up, mostly big brothers/big sisters and a band that is actually going to play at least one show in the next few months.

if i were to measure the time spent with a 7 year old in the amount of sugar on the floor, i'd say two to three inches.

so, the final step in becoming a coffee team leader was purchasing a coffeemaker so i can enjoy coffee at home. i decided upon a french press and also purchased some chocolate hazelnut coffee.

so i'm going to hang out with my little for the first time on friday. we're going to make cupcakes/cookies and eat dinner and probably watch a kids movie (tooootally fine by me!)

i don't know if it's this normal to be as excited as i am to hang out with a seven year old, but i think i'm ok with it.
