I've always believed that there's no way a Jew can support these kinds of laws or the people that advance them (my father doesn't support the ban, but he usually votes Republican). I mean, NOBODY should support them, but it seems to me Jews in particular should balk at anything or anyone that legally defines one group of people as different from another group. You just can't DO that. At least, that's the line I try to sell the old man on.
I've made a list of people who should not support this proposition. Don't forget, the prop isn't just a law. It's a Constitutional ammendment. It's bigger than law. Anyway... people who should not support such a law:
Jews, Catholics, Gypsies, African-Americans, Asians, mentally handicapped, physically handicapped, women, rednecks, nerds, band geeks, skateboarders, hippies, gays, fat people, senior citizens, Muslims, soccer fans, chiropractors, psychologists, neurologists, astrologers, people who wear glasses, vegans, and everbody who might've been called a spazz, or a dork, or a geek. Any of you that have ever felt stepped on, left out, picked on, put down, whether you think you're a nerd or not, should not vote for such 'laws'.
