I am so loving 'Desperate Romantics' being shown on the ABC ever Sunday night. The costumes, the quirky humour, history, and dare I say the very handsome guys, especially actor Samuel Barnett who plays John Everett Millais. Also lovely to see actress Zoe Tapper who plays Effie, know her work from 'Survivors' . The DVD will be a must to purchase ( Read more... )

I laugh every time they refer to themselves as 'pre-Raphelite'.

I love the show too (but haven't watched Sunday's episodes yet). I'm working on a project this week which I've named Desperate Romantics.

Nope! It's got absolutely no relevance to anything a character in the show would have - apart from the women, I suppose!

Damn, i've been missing this! Thanks for bringing it to my attention! Thank god for iView....will watch tonight. I keep managing to miss the beginning of shows i want to see...we hardly ever watch live to air tv, so i always miss the promos of whats coming up. Must frequent the ABC website more often!

K - There is 6 episodes total. Sunday night was episodes 3 & 4. Not sure why our ABC is putting two together.

Ta, but i would never read the story of a show i want to see...i don't want anything spoiled! I'll just w=have to be patient and wait for the DVD, assuming iView doesn't cover it all. But ta anyway!
