Last month I extended my text plan online so that come July I would have enough to last me the month. Apparently if you make changes to your account online it is impossible to future date it. That is where the scam lies. By changing my text plan on the 29th, it canceled my 250 message plan and lowered it to something like 150 messages...even though ( Read more... )

Oh, not quite. I've had problems like this all along, I guess it never made me so angry until now.

unfortunately, Verizon does it because they CAN. Because they ARE the giant. Texting/Data is where they get all they money. My bet is that AT&T would be no better, if not worse. I've been with Verizon for a long time now and I've actually had a lot of interactions with customer service, and I think I've been satisfied and gotten the best customer service I could hope for more times than I've been let down. Unfortunately a company that big has to screw who they can to make enough money to provide as good a service as they do, double edged sword :/
