Yesterday was a big waste. I really shouldn't say that because I did listen to some voice lessons and get some practicing done on Ligeti, but what was a waste was getting dressed at all. The BBQ at Paul's yesterday was fun. There were 7 people there: Paul, Lydia, and me (of course), Paul's friend Kelly from Ole Miss who goes to Manhattan School of Music, and three undergrads: Paul Mulligan, Laura, and Carolyn. My birthday on Thursday was really bipolar. I took the morning off from classes and took a really long shower, and took like an hour getting pretty. I was feeling super about life.
