As a Texan, we have a Rome, a Paris and an Athens but no Nashville that I am aware of.

I actually looked it up a few years ago, when some friends renamed their band "Nashville Texas" for gigs when they would play country and rockabilly instead of their usual power-pop. I knew about Nashville in Tennessee (of course) Arkansas (because I'm an Arky) and Indiana (even had a "Little Opry" until it burned down for the insurance money) but there's also one in Missouri -- I think seven states in all, but none in Texas.

But then Texas has Luckenbach, so it doesn't need a Nashville, right?
