A nice twist on the fear of fear. Imagine having to move because your house was not haunted as you expected it to be. I enjoyed reading this.

Thanks! I'm reminded of a friend who told me she could not sleep with a ticking alarm clock because she would stay awake, listening for the constant tick-tock-tick-tock to break pattern. Sometimes to our imperfect minds, perfection does not compute.

Ha, that's exactly what I thought of, too. And then I was surprised when the twist was that (apparently!) nothing was wrong with the house at all (which is what was "wrong" with it). So I guess it was a pretty good twist, huh? :)
