Writing a story like this is not only difficult but draining. I appreciate the work and love you put in to this story. I also think you left it at the right place. Sometime you have to leave them a little broken to be real to the story. Thank you for a fabulous read.

I wouldn't have finished it without all the support and encouragement on here. I just checked the document history and I started writing the story in May 2011! And then it sat untouched for over a year. I'm very grateful for all the wonderful feedback that pushed me along. It would have felt like a waste to not finish it.

Wow, this whole story was amazing, from start to finish! It was always so exciting to see that another chapter had been posted. It was one of those stories that I just wanted to go on and on and never end. But the ending was so good. Not a storybook perfect happy ending, we know it's still going to be a long haul for Neal and the Burkes. The ending was right for the story. Thank you!

Thank you. I knew pretty much from the start that the story was going to end with Neal safe and sandwiched in the Burkes' bed. I didn't know whether that would be back in NY or not. It felt right to leave them in this very intimate setting of their sanctuary.

Well, this is certainly a WC night for me :D

Thank you soooo much for this amazing story! You are truly amazing and this story is perfect in every aspect. I know you've been a bit worried about finding the right ending - I say you've succeeded because the ending is, well, perfect. There is still a long wah ahead for all of them but there is love and hope and it makes me confident things will eventually get better for them. As long as they are together, it will be okay :D

Of course, I love the cuddles at the end and something tells me things will not necessarily change in that department once they are back home, even though they say something different now :D

And the epitaph - the man looking for Neal Caffrey - EPIC! :D
