At what point should someone quit their job?
I ask this because I'm currently in the midst of deciding whether or not to quit one of my jobs and I'd like to hear non-biased reasons for leaving a job.

Let's talk about--
Race-based admissions for public institutions.
I hate this rears its stupid head every year, but I still feel the same about it. For this issue, I take the opinion far less liked: I think it's perfectly fine to have race-based admissions for public institutions. If it's public, shouldn't it be offered to a more diverse and open crowd?

i've never thought school was hard.
i believe i'm a naturally intelligent person: i like to learn, experiment, connect what i've learned--and maybe that is what makes school easy for me. i mean, i may not always get As, but for the most part, i can pass a class with a little elbow grease and effort if that's what it comes down to.

welp i'm retarded.
i just spent three months studying for the verbal section, and with less than a month to go, just found out the math portion is more important to my graduate programs.
fuuuuuuuuuuck me.

I have a little less than a month before I take the GRE. I'll be taking the exam on April 3rd at 12pm.
i have been studying profusely since january for vocab and put in at least an hour a night. i've gotten so desperate for further practice i've resorted to asking my 8th grade cousin for her math homework. i've even started two of my midterm papers ( Read more... )
